PTR Offers 10 and Under Tennis Day at International Tennis Symposium in Orlando

PTR.jpgProfessional Tennis Registry (PTR) will offer a 10 and Under Day this month during the 2012 PTR International Tennis Symposium. The event, which includes 50-plus on court and classroom presentations for tennis teachers and coaches, a tennis trade show and tournament is being held Feb. 24-28, 2012, at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, in Orlando, Fla.

Day Passes are available for tennis and physical education teachers, coaches and anyone who is involved in teaching 10 and Under Tennis. PTR member and non-members may attend. 

Presentations include: Jane Bowen/A. Lench on Effective Programming for a Diverse Market; Dr. Doug Eng on Sport Psychology for 10 and Under Tennis; Anne Pankhurst on Linking Physical & Technical Competence to 10 and Under Kids; Dave Miley on Serve, Rally & Score/Competition Drives Sport, so Let Them Play!; Mike Barrell on Message Sent, Message Received/Effective Skills to Teach 10 and Under; K.Weigelt/R. John on Sliding on Clay; Chuck Kriese on Helping your Player Break Out of the Pack/Going from Good to Great; Aaron Fox on 10 Games for 10 and Under Tennis; Daniel Spatz on Teaching Tactics to Juniors vs. Teaching Tactics to Pro/College Players; Michelle Skelley on The A, B, Cs and 1, 2, 3s of Pre-School Tennis; Rita Gladstone on 10 & Under Team Activities for Skills & Success; Stan Oley on Teaching Tennis & Developing Your Game with a Twist of Fitness; Butch Staples on Developing Adaptive Skills in Young Players; and Julio Godreau on Using Hand-Fed Drills to Develop Your Players.
