Organization Membership Benefits

As a member of the USTA organization member, you'll enjoy Benefits and Privileges that will put your program into a whole new league. Organization members play an important role in reaching new tennis enthusiasts and maintaining the fine traditions of the sport. We value your membership and we believe our Benefits and Privileges offer tremendous value to you.

US OPEN BENEFIT - Before the US OPEN, the USTA provides each organization member with a US Open commemorative poster. There's a new, collectible poster each year.

Travel Discounts - Now your organizations' USTA Members can take advantage of group discounts on member travel packages we've designed exclusively for tennis enthusiasts. Package destinations include the major tennis tournaments featuring the four grand slam events as well as Davis and Fed Cup events held around the world.

USTA Workshops and Seminars - Receive information and access to sectional and national events, including the Tennis Teachers Conference and the Recreational Leaders Workshop.

USTA Sanctioned Tournaments - Member Organizations may conduct tournaments that are officially  sanctioned by the USTA, and use the USTA name and logo to promote the events (subject to sanctioning requirements).

High Performance Coaching - On a quarterly basis, you will receive the USA Tennis Player Development newsletter, High Performance Coaching. Each issue is designed to provide you with the latest coaching and sports science information and keep you up to date on the new coaching and certificate program.

Certificate of Membership - An attractive certificate, imprinted with the name of your organization and term of membership, will be distributed upon renewal. Suitable for framing and display in a public area, this certificate identifies your group as an official organization member of the USTA and supporter of the game of tennis.

USTA Florida Delegates -  Delegates from your member organization are entitled to vote on issues concerning the general membership

To obtain your free listing on the USTA Florida Website and in order to register or change your delegate(s) and alternate(s) to vote on issues concerning the general membership, please return the Delegate form [PDF] to the USTA Florida office, attention Customer Service.  You can check your current delegates listed for your organization in this yearbook at your organization listing in your district.  Please also use this form to correct any changes you wish to make in your listing.

Voting rights are determined by the five membership categories (club, school, park and recreation department, community tennis association, and program delivery or service organization and other entities).  The current bylaws of USTA Florida provides one vote (one delegate) for each member organization with the following exceptions:  Clubs with 6 or more courts are entitled to two votes (two delegates).

A delegate must have the following qualifications:

1. Each delegate must be a current member in good standing enrolled in the USTA from the Florida Section.
2. Each delegate must be a minimum age of 19.
3. A person may be a delegate for one membership only.
4. An alternate delegate may be named by the Organizational Member in the event a registered delegate is unable to serve and must meet the same qualifications of a delegate.
