USA Tennis Florida Welcomes New Community Tennis Coordinators

July 26, 2005 03:10 PM
USA Tennis Florida is pleased to introduce Trina Singian of Satellite Beach and Matt Graham of Altamonte Springs who are the newest staff members to join the organization as Community Tennis Coordinators (also known as Tennis Service Reps.)

Trina will cover East Region 4 which includes Brevard, Flagler, and Volusia counties; she will reside in Brevard County.
Matt will cover South Region 2 which includes Alachua, Citrus, Dixie, Gilchrist, Levy, Marion, Putnam and Sumter counties; he will live in Alachua County.  Both staff will begin with USA Tennis Florida on July 31.

Both coordinators are recent graduates of Florida universities, and both are former Florida junior competitive players.  Trina graduated from the University of Florida in May 2005 with degrees in Marketing and Mass Communications, and she recently taught summer tennis camp at UF.  Matt graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University, also in May 2005, with a degree in Communications.  He played on the Varsity Men’s Tennis Team and recently completed an internship with the Orlando Magic.

“I am very happy with our two newest field staff,” Associate Executive Director Andy McFarland said. “I think they will bring youth and enthusiasm to their new roles. Also, we will now be covering geographic areas of Florida that have not received a lot of attention from our current field staff, so we hope to fully reach our tennis mission with these two tennis employees!”
