The Diplomat Country Club & Spa in Hallandale and Director of Tennis Craig Wittus, along with tennis member Tom Fowkes and chief volunteer Vivian Mur, hosted a tournament to benefit USPTA Hurricane Relief on September 10. 35 of the area’s best players participated in the event that raised $2,500. The money was sent to benefit tennis pros who have been displaced from their clubs and homes in the Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama areas.

The players were served a great box lunch, free refreshments, a hat and commemorative T-shirt.

Thanks to volunteers Vivian Mur, Melissa Patlee, and Giselda Columna.  And thank you, Diplomat Country Club & Spa, for the use of your beautiful facility.
