USTA Florida Coordinator of Jr. Team Tennis Jodi Manning describes Christine Ducey of Orlando as a "Gold-Star area league coordinator," (ALC).

Christine is currently managing two separate Jr. Team Tennis programs, encompassing children from both Orange and Seminole Counties.  She is proud of the programs' expansion throughout Central Florida.

"We just added Sanlando Tennis Center to our program," she said.  "Now we serve Lake Cane, Hunter’s Creek, Waterford Lakes and Sanlando, and we hope to add College Park next season."

USTA Florida Coordinator of Jr. Team Tennis Jodi Manning is very pleased with Christine's enthusiasm to grow tennis in her region.

"I am so glad I 'recruited' her to be an ALC," Manning said.  "Her program started out pretty small.  She enjoys the challenge of building her league, and she has done an outstanding job in this volunteer position."

Christine believes she can make an impact on these children's lives through tennis.

"I love to see kids who are not quite ready for tournaments gain confidence and improve their skills through playing Jr. Team Tennis," she said.  "It is really great when they just have fun playing the game, without pressure."
