The 2007 GSS Racquet Stringers Symposium will be held from April 1-4th in New Braunfels, Texas at the T-Bar-M Resort and Conference Center (www.tbarm.com) located next to the John Newcombe Tennis Ranch.

Seminar leaders include:
Bob Patterson…. Master Racquet Technician and certification tester with the USRSA (United States Racquet Stringers Association), veteran tour stringer and owner/operator of Racquetmaxx and Player’s Choice Tennis in Birmingham Alabama. Player’s Choice Tennis was voted Retailer of the Year in 2004 by Racquet Sports Industry Magazine and selected to the “Top Ten” retail specialty stores in 2004 by the Tennis Industry Association. Bob was also voted RSi's racquet stringer of the year in 2005.

 John Gugel….Master Racquet Technician and certification tester with the USRSA (United States Racquet Stringers Association) and veteran tour stringer is based in Winter Park Florida. John is the winner of the "Top Design" award from Industrial Design Magazine for innovative racquet design and the winner of the "New Top 100 Products" award from Popular Mechanics Magazine for designing a series of six racquets, one of which was named to the top 100 list.

Richard Parnell….Master Racquet Technician and certification tester with the USRSA (United States Racquet Stringers Association) & ERSA (European Racquet Stringers Association) and veteran tour stringer of 5 Wimbledon’s, many Davis Cup ties in Spain, team leader for the Barcelona Open in 2002, and team leader for the TMS Series Madrid in 2002.

Ron Rocchi….Wilson Sporting Goods Principal Designer, Global Tour Equipment manager, and director of the newly formed Wilson Tour Stringing Services Team, the official stringers of the 2006 U.S. Open and other ATP/WTA tour events around the world. Wilson has a well earned reputation as a world wide leader in the sporting goods industry and is a leading sponsor of ATP & WTA tour players.

J.C. Carpentier….a seasoned machine and repair technician with over 8 years experience working at Jim Henry Tennis Machines in Winchester, Missouri. Jim Henry’s business is highly regarded as a leader in the U.S.A with regards to servicing stringing machines and diagnostic equipment. If your equipment is in need of some tender loving care J.C. has the knowledge and experience to take care of it.

Mark Gonzalez….National Sales Manager for Alpha Racquet Sports, a well recognized name in the industry when it comes to stringing machines and strings. Mark is a MRT (Master Racquet Technician) and certification tester with the USRSA (United States Racquet Stringers Association) and has many years of experience in the retail business as well as stringing at the pro tour level. Grant Morgan….veteran tour stringer of 6 years and over 75 tournaments world wide. Grant was RSi’s stringer of the year in 2006, personal stringer for Andy Roddick during the 2003-2004 ATP seasons, and was the stringer for the U.S. Davis Cup team from 2003-2006.

Frances Davies….Sales manager at Bow Brand International Ltd, a U.K. based manufacturer of natural gut and synthetic racquet strings. Bow Brand has been the official stringers to the Championships, Wimbledon for the past 21 years and Frances has held charge of the Wimbledon stringing team for the past 14 years. Frances possesses a wealth of knowledge on the manufacture and behavior of natural gut strings and her experience in the Wimbledon stringing cabin allows her to bring a unique perspective to the GSS symposium.
