University of Florida Tennis Players Past & Present – New G-Cast

March 19, 2010 09:30 AM

The G-Cast is your guide to junior tennis in Florida. USTA Florida’s Andy Gladstone takes listeners through interviews with special guest coaches, players, offers news updates, commentary and even some product reviews.

In the latest installment, University of Florida Gator tennis players past and present chomp their way onto the G-cast. Andy chats it up in Boca Raton with current ATP standout and former Gator star Jesse Levine about his career and his coaches. Jesse also shares some sage advice about becoming a pro – who should and who shouldn’t.

The interview turns to the humorous side when Jesse unsuccessfully tried to sing the Florida fight song. Finally, Jesse is the consummate sports fan and gave his wisdom on the future of his fellow freshman classmate Tim Tebow.

The G-Cast also ventures to Gainesville where Andy talks college tennis life with the Florida Freshman Three -- Brittany Borsanyi, Lauren Embree and Allie Will. All three were former USTA Florida junior standouts and spoke candidly about the virtues of junior tennis in the Sunshine State.

“My vibes told me all three are working hard on and off the court, but they love being a Gator,” Andy said. “I gave them a little slack since they are all freshman and none of them could sing the Florida fight song.”
