Annual Hawk’s Landing Senior Tennis Tournament Is a Real “Tennis Extravaganza”

April 14, 2004 10:23 AM
The Annual Hawk’s Landing Senior Tennis Tournament held at the Hawks Landing Club during the weekend of March 25th was much more than a tennis tournament. According to Adult Competitive Tennis Council Chairman and ranked senior Player Dan Casey “They really know how to run a quality tournament.”

The tournament box score speaks for itself with such great facts as; 26 players with State or National Rankings, 41 returning players from the previous year and 25 more players than last year. Adding to the great quality of play was an unbelievable array of fun, which included a complementary welcoming cocktail party, a complementary Saturday night dinner with a live band and a complementary continental breakfast every day.

Great Sponsors were impact players in making this tennis event a success. Some of them included Robinette Homes, Gutta, Koutoulas &Relis, Ivax Laboratories, Lake Tennis Inc., Le Maison Décor, Mercedez Benz of Pembroke Pines, Palm Aluminum and Glass, South Florida Institure of Sports Medicine, Weston Outpatient Surgical Center and Westside Regional Medical Center.

Mark this one on your calendar for next year as a “Don’t Miss” for next year.
