“Serve-Up-A-Smile” To benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation

January 24, 2005 09:35 AM

The Bill Clark Tennis Academy located at the Cooper City Pool and Tennis Center is sponsoring “Serve-Up-A-Smile” a community wide event to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Florida.  The benefit will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2005 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cooper City Pool and Tennis Center.  Money raised will be used to grant a wish come true for children with life-threatening illnesses.  Events for the day include a tennis marathon, Talons and Tails Wildlife Experience, a bounce house, a rock-climbing wall, DJ, a raffle, a silent auction, carnival games and food.  There will also be performances by Dance Explosion, Rock Creek Academy and Miss Penny’s Dance.  Sports Clips will be cutting hair with all proceeds going to Make-A-Wish.  There is no admission fee but plenty to do when you arrive!
Last year’s event raised enough money to grant four wishes.
