USA Tennis Florida to Participate in Youth Sports Fitness Festival

July 12, 2005 02:07 PM

On Thursday and Friday, July 21-22 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the South Florida Fairgrounds Expo Center, the annual fitness festival will be held for Palm Beach County youth.  The event is expected to attract more than 5,000 youth.  Tennis will be offered as one of the 30 sports, and USA Tennis Florida will conduct FREE clinics with the $10 admission fee.

This event is designed to present youth with a variety of sports, all in one setting.  Youth will receive goodie bags and t-shirts with their entry fee, along with two days filled with fun games and a chance to improve their athletic skills.

USA Tennis Florida Community Coordinator Janet Sprague is very excited about this event.  “This is a wonderful opportunity for area youth to get involved in athletics, games and fun,” Sprague said, “plus, these youth will leave feeling better about their game and ready for the upcoming season.”

Three USA Tennis Florida clinicians will be working the two-day event: Susan Allshouse, Takeisha St. Hilaire and Herb Artis.
