USTA Seeking Proposals to Implement "Aces for Kids"

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) Education Foundation, coordinating with the Public Affairs Committee of the USTA, is soliciting proposals from not-for-profit organizations to implement Aces for Kids.

Aces for Kids is a national initiative striving to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent childhood/adult obesity by providing underserved children the opportunity to play tennis and improve academic skills. Grants will be awarded for this initiative up to $25,000.

Proposal responses should be clear and concise, describing your organization’s abilities to meet the requirements of this RFP.  The respondent must explain its reasoning for declining to respond to or comply with any request(s) made.  All responses/proposals become the property of the USTA and shall remain valid for a period of six months from the date of submission. 

Programs funded in the previous Aces for Kids Request For Proposal (January 2006) are not eligible in this round of grants. 

DUE DATE: Please submit three copies of the proposal in a sealed envelope marked “Aces for Kids RFP” and send by Wednesday, May 31 at 5 p.m. to (do not e-mail or fax proposals):
