Perfect Weather Greets 2006 Spring Section Tournament

Perfect tennis-playing weather greeted the USTA Jr. Team Tennis Spring Section Tournament which was held April 29–30 in Altamonte Springs.   Over 350 players descended on Sanlando Park to battle each other for Section Champion bragging rights for the 2006 Jr. Team Tennis Spring Season.  Kids competed in divisions ranging from 12s to 18s and in two different skill levels, novice and intermediate.  Sunday afternoon sunshine highlighted a perfect end to a fun-filled recreational tennis event.

For this event, the tournament staff chose two teams to receive the Team Sportsmanship trophy.  Congratulations to the following teams for winning this most important award:
