USTA Florida Announces New North Broward County Rep

January 17, 2007 12:38 PM

Kim Farr is the new Broward County Rep for North Region 8!

She first became involved as a volunteer back in 1994 when she volunteered as a team captain.  Now, with over ten years of experience volunteering for USTA Florida leagues, Kim looks forward to growing tennis within local schools in the Broward County area.  She has also volunteered at the Nasdaq 100, now the Sony Ericsson Open, for three years as a court monitor.

Kim has been playing tennis for 35 years and currently resides in Pompano Beach with her husband Buddy.  She is a life coach, self-employed and has two wonderful sons: Dylan and Brad.

USTA Florida North Region 8 community coordinator, Cheryl Rivera, said, “I am so thrilled to have Kim as part of the USTA family.  Her love for family and community is a great asset and we look forward to her growing the game of tennis in this area!”

Congratulations Kim!
