February 8, 2007 02:36 PM

Jacksonville, Florida - The First Coast Tennis Foundation, Jacksonville's Community Tennis Association, announced the re-launch of its official website www.firstcoasttennis.com.  The new website has been re-designed to better serve the local tennis community in search of information about the latest news, junior and adult tournaments, and league information.  The website also contains a photo gallery and a detailed section about area clubs.

First Coast Tennis Foundation plans to utilize the website to better communicate with the increasing number of tennis players in North Florida.  As part of the re-launch, FCTF introduced two new revenue-generating initiatives in website advertising, and a partnership with online tennis retailer Tennis-Warehouse.

As part of the agreement, Tennis-Warehouse will donate a portion of all sales generated from visitors to their site who use a qualified link from the First Coast Tennis Foundation website.

According to FCTF Executive Director Diane Mantione, “The website allows us to educate visitors about the First Coast Tennis Foundation, and we hope they will take advantage of our partnership with Tennis-Warehouse to help us raise funds to assist with our programs and our mission.”

The First Coast Tennis Foundation (FCTF) is a not for profit 501(c)(3) organization that was established in 1995.  It is recognized by the United States Tennis Association (USTA) as the area's official Community Tennis Association.  The goal of the FCTF is to make available to everyone in the First Coast area opportunities to learn and play tennis.  The FCTF works in cooperation with USTA, the Northeast Florida Professional Tennis Association, First Coast area Parks and Recreation Departments, and First Coast area school systems.
