The Finals are Set in the 2007 USTA Florida Jr. State Closed

June 13, 2007 05:49 PM

Game on.  The finals are set for today, June 14 starting at 9:00 a.m. to determine who will be State Champion at the 2007 USTA Florida Jr. State Closed.  Forget Curse of the Black Pearl, and instead think Curse of the No. 1 seed.  It happened at the 2007 French Open, when No. 2 seed Rafael Nadal defeated Roger Federer in the finals, again.  And as all but one No. 1 seed struggled to get their rhythm in the semi-finals of the draw, their worthy opponents took advantage.

The “Race to the Top” truly is anyone’s game.
