The Campbell’s Hall of Fame Tennis Championships, an ATP event, will bring the top men in professional tennis to Newport, Rhode Island to compete on the legendary grass courts at the International Tennis Hall of Fame. The first U.S. National Lawn Tennis Championships were played in Newport in 1881, the tournament which evolved into today’s largest stage for tennis, the US Open.

In addition to the tournament, the Hall of Fame’s annual Induction Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, July 14, prior to the men’s semifinal matches.  Pete Sampras, winner of a record 14 Grand Slam singles titles, and Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario, the first Spanish woman to win the US Open and reach the World No. 1 ranking, headline the 2007 Induction Ballot. Also on the ballot are Master Player Nominees Sven Davidson and Christine Truman Janes and Contributor Nominees Russ Adams and Dr. Robert Johnson. The International Tennis Hall of Fame will officially announce the Induction Class of 2007 in January.

Tickets for the 2007 Campbell’s Hall of Fame Tennis Championships and 2007 Induction Ceremony can be ordered online starting Thursday, November 2 at 10am. The International Tennis Hall of Fame has upgraded its online ticketing system (through Etix), making online ticket purchasing easier and more efficient.  Buying online will assign the best available seats -- or choose your own location -- with ticket orders processed, printed and mailed out immediately. A special “Series Ticket” has been added (a ticket for the entire week of the tournament) and is available online with a 30% savings off regular pricing.
