October 9, 2008 04:41 PM

One-On-One Doubles Tennis, the half-court, serve-and-volley singles game played on the doubles court, is returning to the USTA National Men's 35 Clay Court Championships.  This USTA Florida One-On-One Doubles tournament will be held at the Veltri Tennis Center in Plantation on Wednesday, Nov. 12 from 3-8 p.m. This is a $1000 prize money tournament!

Mark Harrison of Melborne won the tournament in 2006 at the Florida Tennis Center the night before the National Men’s Clay Court singles tournament began.  The tournament is played in round-robin fashion to rock and blues music.  The new game of tennis has been played at USTA, ITA, USPTA and ATP tournaments.

The tournament director is Ed Krass and he is the founder of One-On-One Doubles and the College Tennis Exposure Camp.  Players can sign up shortly at ustaflorida.com.
