September 22, 2011 11:40 AM
Realize a once-in-a-lifetime tennis dream by entering for your chance to win the 2012 US Open Experience -- including two (2) tickets to the USTA President's Box, round-trip domestic airfare for two (2) to New York and two (2) nights hotel accommodations, complimentary US Open bus transportation to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, lunch in the President's Dining Room, hospitality in the President's Suite, and access to courtside seating in Louis Armstrong Stadium as well as Grandstand and all other courts.

Only 500 tickets will be distributed with a request at $20 contribution each ticket. Fundraiser participants must be 18 years or older, and need not be U.S. residents to win (round-trip airfare prize domestic travel only).

The "once in a lifetime" prize package was experienced at this year's US Open by 2011 grand prize winner Cindy Harkins of Longwood, Fla., who blogged about her experience for the USTA Florida website at www.ustaflorida.com.

"It has been my dream to come to the US Open and finally it's come true," Harkins wrote. "I got goosebumps seeing the world sphere and then entering the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center...The President's Box has its own special entrance. Walking across red carpet and being escorted in a private elevator to the welcome concierge. A real VIP treatment...Life just doesn't get any better than watching Roger Federer from the President's Box!"

Second prize will be two (2) 2012 US Open courtside box seat tickets in Arthur Ashe Stadium, and third prize two (2) nights stay at the Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood, Fla., with a round of golf for two.

Tickets will be available through Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011 or until 500 tickets have been distributed. The prize drawing will be held Dec. 3, 2011 during USTA Florida's 61st Annual Meeting and Volunteer Appreciation Weekend at the Orlando Grand Cypress Resort. Entrants need not be present to win.

Proceeds benefit the USTA Florida Section Foundation to assist charitable organizations who provide tennis programs for Florida's youth and special-needs populations, along with building and renovating public tennis courts. The USTA Florida Section Foundation is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 non-profit with a mission to "improve the health and quality of life of Floridians through tennis."
