25 Florida Tennis Facilities and Counting Hosting Nickelodeon Play Days

mediawall-WWDOP-2013-graphicMore than 25 Florida tennis facilities have signed-up to bring the power of Nickelodeon to tennis events and get more kids playing by hosting a USTA Free Tennis Play Event from Sept. 1 to Sept. 30, 2013, to kick off local fall tennis program promotions.
 
The effort and tennis will receive television exposure on Nickelodeon with millions of players and family members driven to www.YouthTennis.com to find events in their area.

USTA Free Tennis Play Events leverage the brand power of Nickelodeon, the No. 1 media brand in the U.S. for kids and families. Nickelodeon websites and networks reach 74 percent of kids, 67 percent of moms and 61 percent of dads; they are the No. 1 family and youth video destination with 137 million video streams monthly, with 33 million unique visitors to Nickelodeon-branded websites.
 
In addition to being listed on www.YouthTennis.com, events receive customized marketing materials to promote events within the local community at schools, local stores, and after-school programs. Be one of the first 1,500 events to register and you will receive a supply of a custom edition of Bounce, the USTA's youth publication, and premium items to share with event attendees.
 
Florida events will join thousands of USTA Free Tennis Play Events taking place throughout the country from Sept. 1 to Sept. 30 in an effort to get kids active in celebration of Nickelodeon's Worldwide Day of Play.
 
Schools that host both a Kids' Tennis Club and USTA Free Tennis Play Event can receive an equipment package of 12 racquets, 24 youth tennis balls, and a portable net.

Hispanic Family Tennis Festival, Workshop in Pembroke Pines

 
mediawall-tenis-para-todosUSTA Florida in partnership with GTC consultancy is bringing a variety of tennis programs for the Hispanic community to Pembroke Isles in Pembroke Pines, Fla.
 
Pembroke Isles is one of seven facilities across the state that are participating in the new USTA Florida initiative, "Tenis Para Todos," which is focused on the promotion, inclusion and participation of the Hispanic community in tennis. This initiative will have a series of workshops and events during this fall. 
 
Through this partnership, Pembroke Isles will offer programs for kids and adults of all levels of tennis to more Hispanic families in Broward County.
 
"We are very proud to be part of this initiative, which increases opportunities for children, youth and parents in the Hispanic-Latino community to get involved in the active and systematic practice of our sport," said Gustavo Granitto, director of GTC Tennis Consultancy Inc. "It will surely impact children and youth who participate in our starting, development and high performance programs as well as their parents who participate in "Fitness for Tennis."
 
Lew Roberts is president of the homeowners association at Pembroke Isles.
 
"As president and on behalf of Pembroke Isles Homeowners Association, and the father of two sons who were ranked junior tennis players, I want to welcome USTA Florida and its initiative, ‘Tenis para Todos,’ to our Summer Festival on Saturday, Aug. 17 to celebrate our children’s return to school," Roberts said. "This will be an enormous event for the multi-ethnic community offering all a fun-filled day of events. USTA Florida’s attendance and participation will make it even more enjoyable for our Hispanic tennis-loving community."
 
Pembroke Isles offers the GTC’s 16 & Under initiative designed for kids, youth and parents, with individualized attention and long-term development in a multicultural environment.

USTA Florida en Alianza con GTC Tennis Consultancy Llevan Tenis Para Todos a Pembroke Isles

 
USTA Florida en alianza con GTC Tennis Consultancy traen un conjunto de programas de tenis en las instalaciones de Pembroke Isles en Pembroke Pines para la comunidad Hispana. Esta es una de siete sedes alrededor del estado que participan en la nueva iniciativa de USTA Florida, "Tenis Para Todos", la cual esta enfocada a promover la inclusión y participación de hispanos en el tenis. Esta iniciativa contará con talleres y a una serie de eventos familiares este otoño. 
 
A través de esta alianza, Pembroke Isles ofrecerá programas para niños y adultos de todos los niveles de juego a más familias Hispanas en el condado de Broward.
 
"Estamos muy orgullosos de ser parte de esta iniciativa de la USTA Florida, la cual aumenta las oportunidades a niños, jóvenes y adultos de la comunidad Hispana-Latina a involucrarse en la practica activa y sistemática de nuestro deporte. Seguramente impactará en los niños y jóvenes participantes en los programas de iniciación, desarrollo y alta competencia como así de "Físico para el Tenis" en el cual los padres de nuestros jugadores participan", comenta Gustavo Granitto, Director de GTC Tennis Consultancy Inc.
 
"Como el Presidente y en nombre de toda la Asociación de Propietarios de Pembroke Isles y padre de dos hijos quienes estuvieron en el ranking de tenistas jóvenes, quiero darle la bienvenida a USTA Florida y a su iniciativa, "Tenis para Todos, a nuestro Festival de verano el 17 de Agosto, 2013 para celebrar el regreso de nuestros niños a la escuela.
