Miami Dolphins Fans to Take to Tennis Courts at Nov. 2 Game

October 24, 2014 09:28 AM
Tennis and NFL football will converge on Nov. 2 at the Miami Dolphins game at Sun Life Stadium where USTA Florida will offer free tennis to all football fans prior to the game.

Mini-tennis courts will be set up at the Joe Robbie Tailgating Entrance where families and individuals can rally with the USTA Youth Tennis format of play for young children, featuring smaller nets and court sizes, lower-bouncing balls and age-appropriate racquets.

USTA Florida members and tennis fans are encouraged to visit the USTA Florida booth and have a hit on the courts prior to the game.

The event is free and part of the Hispanic outreach initiative 'Tenis para Todos' (Tennis for Everyone) designed to increase tennis participation in the Hispanic community.

The mini-courts will open at 9 a.m. and be available through the opening kick-off of the game vs. the San Diego Chargers.
