Americas_Team_Games_2014USTA Florida and the Blackman Tennis Academy today announced that tennis coaches who are USTA Florida members will receive a $50 discount on registration to attend the Americas Team Games Coaching Education Symposium.

The event, which will be held Aug. 9-10, 2014 at the Boca Raton Resort and Club, is designed to help coaches from Florida teach, train and develop competitive junior players, ages 8 to 18.

"Our entire Americas Team Games staff and committee is grateful to USTA Florida for their support of this great event," said Martin Blackman, director of tennis at the Blackman Tennis Academy, which is hosting the event. "USTA Florida's leadership in successfully promoting the 10 and Under Tennis format of play, and support of coaching education, has energized players, tennis families and coaches throughout the state. By focusing on the youngest players, and the education of coaches of all ages, USTA Florida is ensuring that an inter-generational pipeline of players and coaches continues to fuel American tennis."

"We are excited to partner with America's Team Games to provide an incentive for USTA Florida members to attend the symposium, where they can learn from the best in all aspects of tennis and athlete training," added Jason Gilbert, director of competitive tennis at USTA Florida.
