Scholarships for Florida Coaches for IMG Academy Tennis Conference

revolution-banner-2USTA Florida's Junior Competitive Tennis Division is offering up to 20 partial scholarships for tennis teachers and coaches to assist with their travel and registration expenses to attend the 2014 Revolution Tennis Coaches Conference, to be held Nov. 7-9, 2014 at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.

Each scholarship is valued at $500 and can be used to assist with registration fees, travel and lodging expenses. Scholarships are provided on a reimbursement basis only, and each scholarship winner will be required to submit a post-conference summary of their education experience.

Full registration for the 2014 Revolution Tennis Coaches Conference is valued at $299 and includes:
  • Pre-Conference Workbook to focus preparation on facility needs
  • 2-1/2 days of world class presentations, including key summaries and professional discussions
  • Lunch for Friday and Saturday at the IMG Fieldhouse
  • Conference package including t-shirt and exclusive bonuses and offers from sponsors
  • Four follow-up webinars from speakers to reinforce and discuss key messages
  • One year free membership to evolve9.com

Presentation subjects will include "What Girls Want!", developing athletic skills under age 10, red/orange/green ball teaching tactics and competencies, "IMG World Class U12," competitive skills development, and much more.

"If you are a tennis teacher or tennis coach in Florida and would be interested in attending and need some financial assistance, please submit your Revolution Tennis Coaches Conference scholarship application to USTA Florida no later than Sept. 19 for consideration," says USTA Florida Player Development Coordinator Andy Gladstone. "Scholarship winners will be announced before the end of September."
