U.S. vs. Andy Murray Davis Cup Rematch in 2015

Davis_Cup_logoThe draw for the 2015 World Group of the international Davis Cup tennis competition last week revealed some highly-entertaining match-ups and grudge matches coming next March.

The U.S. will get a chance to avenge a loss earlier this year as they were drawn to face Andy Murray and Great Britain in England. This year the U.S. lost to Great Britain on clay in San Diego without the services of an injured John Isner for the U.S.

First-round Davis Cup play will take place on the weekend of March 6-8, 2015.

"That win was a fantastic upset, and we'll be looking to try and increase our odds once again and get another win this time on home soil," Great Britain captain Leon Smith told the BBC of again facing the U.S.

The winner of the tie will face the winner of France, which has advanced to the 2014 World Group final, versus Germany.

Other first round World Group meetings are Switzerland vs. Belgium, Czech Republic vs. Australia, Serbia vs. Croatia, Argentina vs. Brazil, Italy vs. Kazakhstan, and Canada vs. Japan.
