Why do you enjoy Captaining?
It is a pleasure captaining a group of women who enjoy tennis so much that they play at least 5 days a week, sometimes twice a day. Everyone is so highly motivated they do not need any encouragement from me. I like the competitive spirit, and the chance to meet women from all over the Collier, South Lee County areas.
When did you start playing tennis?
I think I started playing tennis 6 to 8 years ago. I met friends at the Collier County Parks' Tennis Clinics, clinics led to lessons, which led to the Collier County Women's Tennis Association, which led to USTA, Competitive Tennis.

|It was just a natural progression. I was a member of teams; team members changed, a Captain was needed. I had been a Head Nurse, so I figured I could probably do a fairly good job being a captain of a tennis team.

I am rather fed up with the prima donnas on pro teams, they live in a surreal world, and many have lost touch with where they came from. So, I'd have to say the Pelican Bay Community Park 3.0 Senior Women's USTA is my favorite sports team. Playing tennis or any sport for the fun of it.

It would be the French Open. I love their food.

If you mean tennis: Agassi, I think the conversation might include other things besides tennis. If any sport, Derek Jeter.
